Q: Do the keyguards attach to the iPad?

A: No. The keyguards do not attach to either the case or the iPad. There are different methods available depending on which keyguard you are ordering and also which case, if any, the iPad is in. Possible attachment methods include snap-in attachments, suction cups, Velcro,  etc. Please click here more information.

Q: I work for a school and we use purchase orders. Do you accept purchase orders?

A: Yes, we will accept purchase orders under the following conditions:

  1. You must work for a school, university, clinic, institution, professional practice, city/county/state government agency or non-profit organization and be authorized to make purchases on their behalf. Purchase orders are not accepted from individuals.
  2. We prefer that you be a registered customer of our store.
  3. You must be in the United States. Purchase Orders will not be accepted from organizations outside the United States.
  4. You must first create an online quotation.  Purchase orders without a quotation are subject to a $50 surcharge to cover our time getting the specs from you and creating the quote.

Q: We're tax exempt.  How do I avoid being charged sales tax?

We are a Minnesota LLC and only collect sales tax from Minnesota residents and non-exempt organizations. 

Non-Minnesota residents and organizations will not be charged sales tax.

If you are a Minnesota tax exempt organization, you can create an account on this website, then send us your ST-3 form.  We'll mark your account as tax-exempt so tax will not be included on your quotes and orders.

Q: How do non-domestic entities avoid duties and import taxes?

We do not collect any foreign duties or taxes.  You are responsible for any such charges your country assesses.  Typically, those will be collected by the shipping company and you must pay them before they will deliver the package.  If your country has special import or harmonization codes that exempt products for people with disabilities, be sure to tell us on your order.

Q: How quickly will my order ship?

A: Most of our items are custom and may take several days to design and produce. Our goal is to ship an order within 5 business days, though when all the information is in order, we often ship keyguards the next day. You should typically expect to receive your order in 2 to 3 weeks. (During busier times of the year it could take longer).  Most delays are caused by you not returning our calls when you gave us conflicting or incomplete information.  If you're sending us a purchase order, you must create an online quotation to give us a fighting chance of providing prompt service.

Q: If the keyguard just isn't working for us can we return it?

A: Keyguards for iPads and tablets are made to order and are not returnable.  

Keyguards for standard keyboards are returnable if they are in new condition (never used and in the original packaging).  Therefore if you need to return a keyguard for a keyboard you will be charged a 25% restocking fee. Your purchase price will be refunded less the 25% fee and the shipping charges. See our return policy.
